Summer mountain bike camp
About the Camps
Get ready for a week of bike-riding fun at our youth girls summer mountain bike day camp!
Our camp offers a place for beginner girl riders to learn how to mountain bike, and grow skills and passion for the sport! Led by experienced instructors from the State Champion Lake Travis Mountain Bike Team, these coaches provide a fun and safety-conscious environment for littles learning the sport.
For 3rd-6th graders, our camp will cater to all beginner skill levels while receiving coaching, getting exercise, and having fun! Through skills work, games, and navigating terrain during guided trail rides, riders will develop confidence and bike handling skills that last a lifetime, all while having a blast!
This camp is not competitive and focuses instead on skills and fun, however 5th graders who successfully complete the camp will be well positioned for the Lake Travis Middle Schools Mountain Bike Team available to 5th graders and Middle Schoolers enrolled in the Lake Travis district. This team has won seven state championships since 2012, including the last three years in a row.
Safety is our priority, and we will take all measures possible to ensure that all campers are prepared and emphasize the importance of responsible riding and trail etiquette. A mountain bike with 24 inch or larger tires and appropriately sized for the rider is required (not provided).
Whether your child dreams of becoming a future state champion, or simply has a growing passion for outdoor sports, Austin Mini Riders Camp is the ultimate week of summer biking fun!
